No Child Left Behind
The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 is a major education reform act designed to improve student achievement and ensure the adequate yearly progress (AYP) of all school age children. This landmark Act is founded on four common pillars: accountability for results, an emphasis on using research-based strategies and instruction, expanded parental involvement and options, and expanded local control and flexibility.
