Education – Adults ESL Classes
What is ESL?
ESL stands for English as a Second Language and means that the program
uses English as the instructional language. Adult learners are exposed to a
learning environment that is “risk free” and interactive, and one where
instruction is always presented in a meaningful context. Classes are
usually taught at 3 phrases: Level – beginner, Level 2 – intermediate, and
Level 3 - advanced.
GED Classes
What is GED?
The General Equivalency Diploma is known as the GED and is designed as an
alternative to a high school diploma. Completing a GED program and passing
the GED exam enables individuals to pursue higher levels of education and
better employment opportunities.
